Smashed jack-o'-lantern and U.S. President Donald Trump took to Twitter today to condemn the ISIS van attack in Barcelona that killed at least 13. Unlike the two days it took him to "condemn" the deadly neo-Nazi rally in Charlottesville, condeming the militant Islamic group only took him a matter of minutes.
The United States condemns the terror attack in Barcelona, Spain, and will do whatever is necessary to help. Be tough & strong, we love you!

Later, he tweeted his proposed solution:
Study what General Pershing of the United States did to terrorists when caught. There was no more Radical Islamic Terror for 35 years!

The President was referring to General John Pershing, who, according to urban legend, dipped bullets in pigs' blood during the Philippine-American War of 1899-1902. According to actual historians, this is pure bullshit—or, as our tweeter-in-chief would call it, fake news.
In any other presidency, advocating pigs' blood as a weapon would likely be an impeachable offense, but in the Trump White House, it's just another Thursday at the office.
